1. Access Your Twitch Channel Dashboard
Log in to Twitch and navigate to your channel by clicking on your profile icon in the top right corner and selecting “Creator Dashboard.”
2. Navigate to the Channel Points Settings
In the Creator Dashboard, find and click on “Community“ in the left sidebar menu.
Select “Channel Points“ from the options that appear.
3. Configure Channel Points
Scroll down to find the “Bit Badges“ section under “Custom Rewards.”
Click on “Manage Rewards“ or “Edit“ next to the Bit Badges option.
4. Upload Bit Badge Images
Prepare your Bit Badge images in the following sizes and formats:
- 1-bit, 100-bits, 1000-bits, 5000-bits, 10,000-bits, 100,000-bits, and 1,000,000-bits.
- Twitch recommends PNG format with a transparent background for best results.
Click on each level (1-bit, 100-bits, etc.) to upload the corresponding badge image from your computer.
5. Save Your Changes
After uploading each badge image, click “Save“ or “Update“ to apply the changes.
Twitch may require a few moments to process and update your Bit Badges.
6. Test Your Bit Badges
Optionally, use Twitch’s “Cheer“ feature to test the Bit Badges during a test stream or ask a viewer to cheer with bits to verify that the badges appear correctly in chat.
7. Customise Badge Settings (Optional)
Adjust settings such as the display style (e.g., stacking or default) and visibility based on your preferences.
You can also customise the display name associated with each Bit Badge level.
8. Inform Your Viewers
Inform your viewers about the new Bit Badges and encourage them to use cheers (bits) to unlock and display these badges in chat.
